In order to support high-level and efficient library activities, the management of the University of Szeged Klebelsberg Library declares and ascertains its commitment to the operation and continuous improvement of its Quality Assurance System according to the requirements of the standard MSZ EN ISO 9001:2015. The validity of the Quality Assurance System covers its main activity and all the other relating activites facilitating their implementation.
In the interest of the efficient Quality Management System, the management of the Library:
- Lets every member and partner of the Library know the importance of accomplishing the reader’s requirements, expectations, as well as of being compliant with the concerning requirements of legislation. Hence, the readers’ and other interested parties’ levels of contentment are permanently monitored and evaluated.
- Formulated Quality Policies corresponding to the aims of the institution and set obtainable, reasonable and measurable Quality Goals.
- Carries out regular management reviews with investigating input and output data; moreover, maintaines its achieved results to ensure the constant development and improvement of the Library’s main service-based processes and the Quality Management System.
- Financially supports the required resources and evolves the adequate organizational structure and infrastructure. In the course of the the executive personnel’s selection, the requirements of qualification, efficiency and competency are taken into account. Continuously organizes professional and quality trainings, advanced studies for the staff members and creates a positive work environment.
- All members of the personnel of the University of Szeged Klebelsberg Library are expected to contribute with their work to the implementation and attainment of the outlined Quality Goals.
On behalf of the management of the University of Szeged Klebelsberg Library, the institution’s director general, as a Quality Management representative, is in charge of the direction of the Quality Management System, the supervision of its operation and the performance of preparatory activities for developments until further arrangements. The Quality Management representative’s work is supported by Barbara Gríz-Verbói and Nikoletta Puskás as Quality Management assistants. Their activities are assisted by a Quality Management group called „Megold”, formed by the institution’s colleagues.
