We hereby inform our readers that due to the university winter break, the SZTE Klebelsberg Library will close on Saturday, 21 December 2024 at 8 pm, and will reopen on 30 December 2024 at 8 am.
You will not be able to return books during this period, but due dates are deliberately not issued on the days our library is closed. Please settle any loans that expire before the closing date, as late fees will continue to be counted during the closing period. We recommend our e-resources for this period, which can be conveniently accessed from home.
Please also note that cash payments will be suspended from 20 December 2024 until 2 January 2024. During this time, only local card payments or SimplePay online payments in our online catalogue will be available.
Delivery from the external warehouse will be suspended from 17 December 2024 to 7 January 2025, and interlibrary requests will be suspended from 20 December 2024 to 2 January 2025.
The special collections will be closed on 30-31 December 2024 and 2-3 January 2025.
From 2 January 2025, the opening hours will be those of the exam period:
- 8 am to 12 am on weekdays;
- 8 am to 8 pm on Saturdays;
- 10 am to 6 pm on Sundays.
During this period on weekday evenings from 10 pm to midnight and on Sundays only our on-site services will be available to pre-registered readers. No registrations, loans, renewals or returns will be possible.
