Although we purchase e-books for the University of Szeged from several publishers and reseller aggregators, the backbone of our collection is the following large e-book databases and collections.
- Proquest E-book Central: aggregated subscribed and purchased e-book database from publishers around the world, in all subjects.
- Academic Complete: 250,000 multidisciplinary e-books from ProQuest.
- SpringerLink: tens of thousands of multidisciplinary e-books purchased by the University of Szeged from Springer.
- IEEE Xplore: a database of technical and IT e-books published by IEEE.
Medical resources:
- ClinicalKey: medical e-book database from Elsevier.
- LWW Health Library: the textbook and manual database of Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
- OVID platform: a collection of medical e-books in the Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Doody’s series.
- Thieme MedOne Education: the Thieme medical e-book collection.
- Thieme eRef Collection: a German-language medical collection published by Thieme.
The titles of the above large e-book collections and additional e-books purchased are available through our catalog and Summon Discovery.
These collections can be used through academic IP addresses and from home with the help of the proxy server or EduID.
